Bellway Plc FY25 Results Rise; Lifts Final Dividend; Stock Up 5%

Shares of Bellway Plc (BWY.L) are rising 5 precent on Tuesday's trading after the company reported higher profit in fiscal 2025, helped by a 17 percent rise in revenues and more number of house completions. The company also increased its final dividend for the year.

On the LSE, the stock is up 4.76 percent on Tuesday's trading at 2,598.00 pence.

The British residential property developer posted statutory profit of 157.5 million pounds or 131.8 pence per share in fiscal 2025, higher than 130.5 million pounds or 109.0 pence per share last year. On an underlying basis, the profit was 209.7 million pounds or 176.7 pence per share in fiscal 2025, compared to 160.6 million pounds or 135.2 pence per share a year ago.

According to Bellway, pre-tax profit climbed 21 percent to 221.9 million pounds from 183.7 million pounds last year. Underlying pre-tax profit came in at 289.1 million pounds, compared to 226.1 million pounds recorded in the prior-year.

Annual revenues were up 17 percent in fiscal 2025 to 2.78 billion pounds from 2.38 billion pounds a year ago. The company completed 8,749 houses during the year, up 14.3 percent from last year's 7,654 houses.

The company said that its Board has recommended a final dividend of 49.0 pence per share for fiscal 2025, higher than last year's 38.0 pence per share. This brings the proposed total dividend to 70.0 pence per share, up 30 percent from 54.0 pence per share in fiscal 2024.
