Malaysia's consumer price inflation increased further in September to the highest level in seven months, data from the Department of Statistics showed on Wednesday.
The consumer price index, or CPI, climbed 1.5 percent annually in September, following a 1.3 percent rise in August. The expected inflation rate was 1.4 percent.
