SK hynix Inc. (HXSCL,000660.KS) reported that its third quarter net income attributable to shareholders of parent company climbed to 12.60 trillion won from 5.75 trillion won in the previous year.
The company delivered its strongest quarterly performance to date, fueled by a broad-based increase in DRAM and NAND prices and a surge in shipments of high-performance products for AI servers. Notably, operating profit surpassed 10 trillion won for the first time in its history, the company said.
Operating income for the quarter was 11.38 trillion won up from 7.03 trillion won in the previous year.
Quarterly sales grew to 24.45 trillion won from 17.57 trillion won in the prior year. Investment for next year is expected to increase compared to this year, reflecting the company's continued commitment to a market-aligned investment strategy.
