Traton SE 9-Month Sales Revenue Drops 8%; Reaffirms Annual Outlook

Traton SE (8TRA.DE,8TRA.ST) Wednesday said that its sales revenue fell 8 percent in the first nine months of 2025 to 32.3 billion euros from 35.3 billion euros in the same period last year, impacted by lower truck sales in Brazil and North America.

During the nine-month period, the German commercial vehicle manufacturer's operating result declined to 1.72 billion euros from 3.10 billion euros recorded in the year-ago period. On an adjusted basis, operating result fell to 2.0 billion euros from 3.26 billion euros in the prior-year period.

The company said that unit sales declined 9 percent to 224,515 vehicles in the nine-month period from 245,384 vehicles in the corresponding period of 2024.

According to Traton SE, incoming orders rose 7 percent to 202,100 vehicles in the first nine months from 189,800 vehicles in the year-ago period, helped by a high replacement demand from truck customers in Europe.

Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2025 outlook for the Traton Group of unit sales and sales revenue to range between -10 percent and 0 percent. Adjusted operating return on sales is anticipated to be at the lower end of the 6 percent to 7 percent outlook range.

Net cash flow from Traton operations is also forecast to be toward the lower end of the expected range of 1.0 billion euros to 1.5 billion euros.

On the XETRA Exchange, 8TRA.DE is up 3 percent on Wednesday's trading at 27.78 euros.
