Amerigo Resources Ltd. (ARG.TO), a Chile-based copper and molybdenum concentrate producer, Wednesday reported increased profit for the third quarter compared to last year.
The company's net income was $6.7 million, higher than $2.8 million last year.
For the three-month period, earnings per share was $0.04 compared to $0.02 a year ago.
In the third quarter, EBITDA declined to $18.7 million from $13.3 million the earlier year.
Amerigo's revenue came in at $52.5 million from $45.4 million the prior-year quarter.
On the Toronto Stock Exchange, the stock had closed on Tuesday's trading 1.87 percent higher at C$2.72.
