Spectris plc (SXS.L), a precision measurement solutions provider, Thursday reported an increase in third quarter net sales from last year.
For the three-month period, the company reported sales up by 11 percent to 335.6 million pounds from 302.7 million pounds. Like-for-like sales were higher by 4 percent.
The Scientific sales were up by 12 percent, while Dynamics sales were 10 percent higher on a reported basis.
On a like-for-like basis, the company's scientific sales were 5 percent higher while dynamics sales increased by 4 percent.
Spectrics' board expects annual adjusted operating profit to be in line with its projections. Further, the company said the completion of the acquisition by KKR is in the advance stage.
On the London Stock Exchange, the shares were trading 0.10 percent higher at 4110 pence.
