ObesityWeek 2025, an annual international conference for obesity researchers and clinicians, is scheduled to take place from November 4 to 7 in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), obesity remains highly prevalent among U.S. adults - more than 100 million are living with obesity, and over 22 million have severe obesity. Obesity is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 30.0 or higher, while severe obesity is defined as a BMI of 40.0 or higher.
