Hyundai Mobis Co Ltd (012330.KS), a South Korean auto parts vendor, reported Friday higher net profit and sales in its third quarter, but weak operating income.
In South Korea, the shares were gaining around 2.8 percent to trade at 316,000 won.
In the third quarter, net income attributable to shareholders of parent company grew 1.06 percent to 929.45 billion Korean won from last year's 919.67 billion won.
Net income from continuing operation before income tax was 1.26 trillion won, down 3.50 percent from 1.31 trillion won a year ago.
Operating income dropped 14.12 percent to 780.30 billion won from 908.56 billion won last year.
Sales grew 7.36 percent to 15.03 trillion won from prior year's 14.00 trillion won.
