Bachem Holding AG (BANB.SW) Friday said that its Board of Directors has appointed Anne-Kathrin Stoller as the new Chief Executive Officer or CEO, effective January 1, 2026. Stoller will succeed Thomas Meier, who, after more than thirty years with Bachem, including nearly six years as CEO, has stepped down to pursue another opportunity outside the company.
The Swiss biotechnology company said that Stoller joined Bachem in 2006 and has held a variety of leadership roles over the years, including Head of Business Development & Sales Europe, Chief Marketing Officer, and member of the Executive Committee. Since 2022, she has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer Americas, overseeing the U.S. operations.
Commenting on Stoller's appointment, Kuno Sommer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, "I am very pleased that we have been able to appoint Anne-Kathrin Stoller, an experienced and competent successor from within our own ranks, as the new CEO. Anne-Kathrin has an excellent combination of expertise, leadership skills, and customer focus and, together with her colleagues in the Executive Committee, will continue Bachem's successful course."
On the Swiss Exchange, BANB ended Thursday's trading at 58.75 Swiss francs, down 0.17 percent.
