Synectics plc (SNX.L), a security and surveillance systems solutions provider, Monday announced that it entered into a five-year contract with Bus Eireann for 1.8 million pounds to improve Fleet CCTV through cloud integration.
Under the deal, Synectics' systems integration business, Ocular Integration, will deploy real-time cloud services across the existing fleet of Bus Eireann, Ireland's national bus service provider.
The technology upgrade enables comprehensive on-vehicle CCTV management through Ireland's cellular network delivering boosted operational efficiency, faster retrieval capabilities and a base for future system integrations.
Further, the contract provides predictable revenue streams and reinforces Bus Eireann's ongoing confidence in Synectics' technology platform.
On the London Stock Exchange, Synectics' shares were trading 0.33 percent lower at 286.55 pence.
