Kakao Pay Corporation (377300.KS), a South Korean mobile payment and digital wallet service provider, on Tuesday posted a net profit for the third quarter, supported by increased sales.
For the three-month period to September 30, the company registered a net profit of KRW 15.186 billion, compared with a net loss of KRW 25.263 billion in the same period last year.
Operating income stood at KRW 15.801 billion as against the prior year's loss of KRW 7.488 billion. Sales improved to KRW 238.350 billion, up from the previous year's KRW 186.209 billion.
