Krafton Inc. (259960.KS), a South Korean video game company, on Tuesday reported a surge in net profit for the third quarter, helped by increased revenue.
For the three-month period, the firm posted a net income of KRW 369.4 billion, higher than KRW 121.4 billion in the same period last year. Excluding items, EBITDA was KRW 389.8 billion as against the prior year's KRW 365.4 billion.
Operating profit stood at KRW 348.6 billion, compared with KRW 324.4 billion a year ago. Revenue improved to KRW 870.6 billion from KRW 719.3 billion.
