Hanwha Solutions Corporation (009830.KS), an eco-friendly energy materials company, on Wednesday reported lower loss for its third quarter, mainly helped by growth in sales.
Net income from continuing operations before income tax showed a sharp recovery, improving to a loss of 39.709 billion won from a loss of 370.284 billion won a year earlier.
Operating loss was 7.418 billion won, compared with a loss of 80.313 billion won in the third quarter of last year.
Net loss attributable to shareholders of parent company was 12.057 billion won, significantly lower than 400.539 billion won last year.
Sales rose 22.52% to 3.364 trillion won from 2.746 trillion won a year earlier.
