MDU Resources Group, Inc. (MDU), Thursday announced third-quarter financial results, posting a net income of $18.4 million, or $0.09 a share, compared to $64.6 million, or $0.32 a share in the prior year.
Income from continuing operations increased to $18.4 million, or $0.09 a share, from $15.6 million, or $0.08 a share a year earlier.
On average, analysts estimated earnings of $0.11 per share for the period.
Operating revenues stood at $315.1 million compared to $289.6 million last year.
Looking ahead, the company has narrowed its full year 2025 earnings outlook to a range of $0.90 to $0.95 per share, from the previous range of $0.88 to $0.95 per share.
Analysts, on average, anticipate earnings of $0.94 a share for 2025.
In the pre-market hours, MDU is trading at $19.66, up 0.15 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
