UPL Limited Swings To Profit In Q3

UPL Limited (UPL.NS), Thursday announced financial results for the second quarter, reporting significant profit and revenue growth.

The India-based company posted profit of INR 612 crore for the quarter, compared to a net loss of INR 585 crore in the previous year.

On per share basis, earnings totaled INR 6.74 compared to a loss of INR 5.68 in the earlier year.

Profit before tax amounted to INR 784 crore compared to loss of INR 447 crore in the prior year.

Revenue from operations increased to INR 12,019 crore from last year's INR 11,090 crore.

Meanwhile, total income rose to INR 12,269 crore from INR 11,201 crore a year earlier.

UPL closed at INR 733.35, up 0.27 percent on the National Stock Exchange.
