IONOS Group SE (IOS.DE) announced the appointment of Patrik Heider as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2026, following a transition period beginning November 15, 2025.
Heider succeeds Britta Schmidt, who will leave the company at her own request at the end of the year.
Heider joins from NFON AG, where he served as CEO. His previous leadership roles include CEO positions at Thinkproject and riskmethods, and CFOO and spokesperson for the Management Board at Nemetschek SE. He began his career at PwC Consulting and later served as CFO of the Hoffmann Group in Munich.
The Supervisory Board praised Schmidt's contribution, highlighting her key role in IONOS's 2023 IPO, profitability improvements, and the company's successful positioning in the capital market. Chairman Ralph Dommermuth and CEO Achim Weiß both thanked Schmidt for her "excellent work" and welcomed Heider as an experienced leader to help drive IONOS's next phase of growth.
Schmidt expressed gratitude for her four years at IONOS, citing the team's shared efforts in building a foundation for long-term profitable growth.
IOS.DE currently trades at €29.3 or 1.91% higher on the XETRA.
