Semeprit Slips To Loss For 9-month Period

Semperit AG Holding (SEM.VI), a specialty industrial machinery company, reported it turned to loss for the nine-month period.

Semperit's loss after tax were 8.4 million euros compared to a profit of 7.1 million euros for the comparable nine-month period.

Net loss per share was 0.41 euros compared with earnings of 0.35 euros a year ago.

The company's EBITDA fell 18.6 percent, to 52 million euros from 63.9 million euros the earlier year.

Operational EBITDA came down 14.3 percent, to 55.6 million euros from 64.8 million euros the prior year.

For the reported quarter, EBITDA rose to 21.3 million euros for the third quarter.

For the nine-month period, revenues declined 4.6 percent, to 483.4 million euros from 506.6 million euros the prior year.

Looking ahead, for the full year 2025, the firm reported operating EBITDA is expected to be around 78 million euros from the previously announced 65-85 million euros.

On the Vienna exchange, shares were trading 0.47 percent higher at 12.86 euros.
