South Korea's Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Co. Ltd. (001450.KS) reported Friday lower profit in its third quarter, despite higher net sales.
In the quarter, net income dropped 14.2 percent to 183.18 billion Korean won from 213.43 billion won a year ago.
Operating income fell 16.1 percent to 245.45 billion won from prior year's 292.66 billion won.
Sales, however, grew 14.4 percent to 4.28 trillion won from 3.74 trillion won last year.
In South Korea, the shares were trading at 29,300.00 won, down 0.17%.
