DB Insurance Co., Ltd. (005830.KS) on Friday reported a decline in third-quarter earnings despite growth in sales.
Net income from continuing operations before income tax was KRW 397.293 billion, down 34.1% from KRW 602.917 billion in the same quarter a year ago.
Operating income declined 33.5% year-on-year to KRW 403.206 billion.
Net income was KRW 293 billion, down 35.4% from KRW 453.867 billion last year.
Sales for the quarter totaled KRW 4.700 trillion, up 7.6% from KRW 4.366 trillion in the previous-year quarter.
