Nissan Shatai Co. Ltd. (NSNHF,7222.T), a Japanese vehicle manufacturer, Friday reported profit for the second quarter on improved sales, compared to loss last year.
For the latest quarter, net income attributable to owners of the parent was 3.71 million yen, compared to loss of 1.46 million yen last year.
The company's operating income was 5.55 million yen from net loss of 2.27 million yen in the prior year.
The firm's net sales grew to 186.19 million yen from 146.81 for the comparable period last year.
Looking ahead to the full year 2025, Nissan Shatai forecasts earnings attributable to owners of the parent of 4.4 million yen, operating income of 6.9 million yen and revenue of 398.10 million yen.
Nissan Shatai proposed fiscal 2025 dividend of 13 yen per share based on the policy of maintaining a stable dividend. On the Tokyo Stock Exchange, shares closed on Friday's regular trading at 1.82% higher at 1,061 yen.
