Enviri Corp. (NVRI) shares jumped 28.15%, rising $3.82 to $17.39 after the company agreed to sell Clean Earth to Veolia Environnement SA for $3.04 billion in cash.
The stock is trading at $17.39, compared with a previous close of $13.57 on the New York Stock Exchange. Shares have moved between $17.14 and $18.57 so far today, with volume at about 8.86 million shares.
Enviri's 52-week range is $4.72 to $18.57.
Enviri shareholders are expected to receive $14.50-$16.50 per share in the transaction and will retain full ownership of Harsco Environmental and Rail. The deal has been unanimously approved by both companies' boards and is expected to close in mid-2026.
