thyssenkrupp nucera announced that it expects earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to be around 2 million euros, compared with negative 14 million euros in 2023/2024. Sales are projected at 845 million euros for the 2024/2025 reporting year, slightly below the 862 million euros recorded in the previous year.

The electrolysis specialist did not fully meet its earlier sales targets. Based on preliminary, unaudited figures, sales came in just under the forecast range of 850 million to 920 million euros. EBIT, however, is positioned in the upper half of the forecast range of negative 7 million to 7 million euros. The company also generated positive free cash flow and continues to finance its operations from ongoing business activities.

For the 2025/2026 fiscal year, the company expects consolidated sales of between 500 million euros and 600 million euros compared to 845 million in 2024/25. The company has already initiated measures to reduce the lower cost coverage due to lower sales and thus ultimately the impact on consolidated earnings. Against this backdrop, it expects consolidated EBIT to be between negative 30 million euros and 0 million euros compared to 2 million euros in 2024/25.

The company noted that it will release its detailed fourth quarter and full-year 2024/2025 results, along with the forecast for fiscal year 2025/2026, in its Annual Report on December 17, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. CET.
