Munters' (MTRS.ST) Data Center Technologies unit secured an $82 million order from a U.S. colocation provider building a large AI-focused facility.
The deal covers Geoclima's Circlemiser chillers, high-efficiency systems Munters gained through its 2024 Geoclima acquisition, along with service and commissioning. Deliveries begin mid-Q2 2026 and scale through the end of Q3.
The company said booming AI deployments are driving demand for cooling systems that deliver stronger performance with lower energy use. Circlemiser chillers offer top-tier efficiency and higher capacity in a smaller footprint, making them well-suited for hyperscale tenants.
DCT President Stefan Aspman said the win shows Munters' technology aligns with the sector's fast-evolving needs. He noted strong U.S. momentum despite short-term tariffs tied to importing European-built chillers. Production at Munters' new Virginia plant is expected to come online by late Q1 2026, allowing future systems to be delivered directly from the U.S.
MTRS.ST currently trades at $173.1 or 8.12% higher on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
