Circus SE (CA1.DE) announced that Mercedes-Benz Gastronomie GmbH will introduce Circus' CA-1 autonomous meal production robot to support canteen operations at its Sindelfingen plant beginning in summer 2026.
The AI-powered robot is designed to enhance canteen capacity during peak times and ensure continuous service across shift operations.
The CA-1 system integrates industrial-grade robotics with AI-native software to deliver fully autonomous meal production. With a compact footprint of just seven square meters, the system can produce more than 500 dishes per ingredient load. It combines dispensing, cooking, cleaning, and packaging into a closed-loop process.
AI-driven demand planning and real-time analytics further ensure consistent quality, minimize food waste, and support sustainability targets, making the CA-1 a transformative solution for large-scale food service operations.
