Munters' (MTRS.ST) Data Center Technologies - DCT business unit has secured an order worth approximately 840 MSEK for chillers from a new U.S.-based colocation data center customer.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and continue through the first quarter of 2027.

The global provider of energy-efficient air treatment and climate control solutions will book the order in its fourth-quarter 2025 intake. The contract includes Geoclima Circlemiser chillers along with service and commissioning support. Production will occur at Munters' expanded data center manufacturing facility in Virginia, with phased deliveries over the scheduled timeline.

Klas Forsström, President and CEO of Munters, stated that accelerating AI-driven data center growth is driving demand for highly efficient and adaptable cooling systems. He noted that Munters' ability to collaborate closely with customers and scale bespoke solutions remains central to its success.

Stefan Aspman, President of DCT and Group Vice President, said the new order reflects growing adoption of the Circlemiser chiller, emphasizing its energy efficiency, compact design, and strong performance under high-density, dynamic loads. He added that Munters' investments in Geoclima chiller technology and expanded U.S. production capacity position the company well to meet rising demand in the critical U.S. market.
