Gaztransport et Technigaz SA (GTT.PA,GZPZY,GZPZF) Monday said that it has appointed François Michel as Chief Executive Officer or CEO, effective January 5, 2026, thus reinstating a dissociated governance structure.

The French naval engineering company said that the appointment, which followed a detailed selection process, was unanimously approved by the Group's Board of Directors at its meeting on December 13.

According to the company, as CEO, Michel will be responsible for the continued execution of the company's strategy, with a focus on advancing technological innovation, enhancing operational excellence, and supporting its diversification and growth initiatives.

Commenting on the appointment, Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "I am delighted by the appointment of François Michel as Chief Executive Officer of GTT. His experience and strategic vision will enable the Group to open a new chapter in its development, building on a trajectory shaped over many years around innovation and excellence."

On the Paris Exchange, GTT.PA is trading up 1.2 percent on Monday at 162.20 euros.
