Hollywood Bowl Group FY25 Profit Up 16%, Declares Final Dividend; Stock Up 5%

Hollywood Bowl Group Plc (BOWL.L) Tuesday said that its profit rose 16 percent in fiscal 2025, helped by good performances in the UK and Canada markets. Revenue rose 9 percent from last year and the company also declared a final dividend.

On the LSE, BOWL.L is up 5.4 percent on Tuesday's trading at 291.50 pence.

The British bowling and leisure operator posted profit of 34.6 million pounds or 20.28 pence per share in fiscal 2025, higher than 29.9 million pounds or 17.42 pence per share a year ago. On an adjusted basis, profit fell 2.4 percent to 36.7 million pounds or 21.51 pence per share from 37.6 million pounds or 21.92 pence per share in the previous year.

During fiscal 2025, pre-tax profit climbed 3.6 percent to 44.3 million pounds from 42.8 million pounds a year ago. Adjusted profit before tax, however, declined 8.6 percent to 46.0 million pounds from 50.3 million pounds recorded last year.

Annual Group revenue came in at 250.7 million pounds, up 8.8 percent from 230.4 million pounds in fiscal 2024. The company added that group adjusted EBITDA grew 4.2 percent to 91.2 million pounds from 87.6 million pounds in the prior year.

The company said that its Board has declared a final ordinary dividend of 9.18 pence per share. Subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting, the ex-dividend date will be January 29, 2026, with a record date of January 30, 2026 and a payment date of February 20, 2026.
