ENCAVIS has acquired the 34-megawatt Bebensee wind farm from the PNE Group (PNE3.DE), extending the long-standing cooperation between the two renewable energy companies.
The project is located around 45 kilometres northeast of Hamburg and has been operational for approximately two months.
Following the transaction, PNE subsidiary energy consult GmbH will assume responsibility for the wind farm's technical and commercial management in Schleswig-Holstein. With this addition, ENCAVIS has increased its installed wind capacity in Germany to roughly 770 MW, further strengthening its renewable energy footprint in the country and across Europe.
The Bebensee wind farm comprises five Nordex N163 turbines, each rated at 6.8 MW. Annual power generation is expected to be sufficient to supply around 33,000 households with green electricity. Revenues are secured under a 20-year EEG feed-in tariff.
PNE highlighted that the sale reflects its flexible project development model, enabling assets to be brought to market at various stages while maintaining involvement through operational management. The deal follows ENCAVIS's acquisition of the 34 MW Sundern-Allendorf wind farm from PNE four months ago, which is also managed by energy consult GmbH.
PNE3.DE currently trades at €9.75 or 1.14% higher on the XETRA.
