DBV Technologies S.A. (DBVT) rose 20.77%, closing at $21.72, up $3.74 on the session, after the company announced positive topline results from its Phase 3 VITESSE trial evaluating the Viaskin Peanut patch in peanut-allergic children aged 4 to 7 years.
The stock opened near $18.10, climbed to an intraday high of $22.25, and touched a low of $17.95, compared with a previous close of $17.98. DBVT is listed on the NasdaqGS.
The sharp move followed DBV's disclosure that the VITESSE study met its primary endpoint, with a significantly higher responder rate in children treated with Viaskin Peanut compared with placebo. The safety profile was consistent with prior studies, and the company said it plans to submit a Biologics License Application to the U.S. FDA in the first half of 2026.
Trading volume was unusually heavy, with approximately 8.5 million shares changing hands versus an average daily volume of about 1.1 million shares, indicating strong investor reaction to the clinical milestone.
DBVT's 52-week range is roughly $4.05 to $22.25, with the stock trading near the top of its yearly range following the announcement.
