China Natural Resources Inc. (CHNR) on Wednesday posted a wider net loss for the first half.
For the six-month period to June 30, the company registered a net loss of CNY1.27 million, or CNY1.01 per share, compared with a loss of CNY0.12 million, or CNY0.10 per share, in the same period last year. This was mainly due to the decrease of fair value gain on financial instruments.
Fair value gain on financial instruments stood at CNY1.88 million, compared with CNY3.86 million a year ago. The amount represented the fluctuation of fair values of the company's outstanding warrants.
CHNR was up by 2.93% at $3.69 in the pre-market trade on the Nasdaq.
