Ondas Holdings Inc. (ONDS) shares rose 7.89 percent on Friday, gaining $0.77 to trade at $10.53, after the company announced plans to change its corporate name to Ondas Inc. and relocate its headquarters to West Palm Beach, Florida.
Ondas said the rebrand reflects its evolution into a fully integrated global defense and security technology platform, combining autonomous aerial and ground robotics through its Ondas Autonomous Systems unit with private wireless solutions.
The stock opened at $10.14, compared with a previous close of $9.76, and traded between $9.91 and $10.65 during the session on the Nasdaq. Trading volume reached about 71.28 million shares, below its average volume of roughly 84.46 million shares.
Ondas has a 52-week trading range of $0.57 to $11.70.
