Mobileye Global Inc. (MBLY) shares rose 0.20%, trading at $12.20, up $0.02, after the company announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mentee Robotics to accelerate its expansion into physical artificial intelligence and humanoid robotics.

The move marks Mobileye's strategic push beyond automotive autonomy into robotics, combining its perception and autonomy stack with Mentee's humanoid robotics platform. The company said the acquisition will support proof-of-concept deployments starting in 2026, with broader commercialisation targeted for 2028, prompting cautious investor reaction.

On the day of the announcement, MBLY opened near its previous close, traded within a narrow range throughout the session, and held close to $12.20, compared with a prior close near $12.18. The stock trades on the Nasdaq.

Trading volume was broadly in line with the stock's average daily volume, indicating that investors are still assessing the long-term impact of the acquisition.

Mobileye's 52-week range is approximately $10.40 - $33.26, highlighting the stock's extended decline as the company transitions from pure automotive autonomy toward broader physical AI opportunities.
