Alteogen Inc. (196170.KQ) said Tuesday it has signed a license agreement granting Tesaro, a unit of GSK, worldwide rights to use its ALT-B4 to develop a subcutaneous form of GSK's cancer drug dostarlimab.
ALT-B4 is Alteogen's proprietary human recombinant hyaluronidase enzyme developed using its Hybrozyme technology. The enzyme enables large-volume subcutaneous administration of drugs that are typically delivered via intravenous infusion.
Under the terms of the agreement, Alteogen will receive an upfront payment of $20 million and is eligible for milestone payments of up to $265 million tied to development, regulatory and sales achievements. Alteogen will also receive royalties on sales of the commercialized product.
Alteogen said it will be responsible for the clinical and commercial supply of ALT-B4 to Tesaro.
