Senior Plc Now Expects FY25 Adj. Pre-Tax Profit Comfortably Above Earlier View; Stock Up 8%

Shares of Senior Plc (SNR.L) are up 8 percent on Thursday's trading after the company said in its pre-closing update for fiscal year 2025 that it now expects annual adjusted profit before tax to be comfortably above previous expectations, helped by higher-than-anticipated trading, mainly within its Aerospace division.

On the LSE,SNR.L is currently up 8.11 percent on Thursday's trading at 247.00 pence.

The British aerospace components manufacturer said that it has also taken steps to reduce its cost base in certain Flexonics operations. The associated restructuring costs will be treated as adjusting items and will be mentioned in its full-year results, Senior Plc added.

In addition, initial cash proceeds from the sale of the Aerostructures business, along with strong cash generation, has led to net debt coming below 80 million pounds. Senior Plc said that it will publish its full-year 2025 results on March 2.
