Mapletree Industrial Trust (MAPIF), a real estate investment trust, on Wednesday reported a profit before tax of S$96.99 million for the third quarter, 1.2% up from S$95.84 million a year ago.
Profit attributable to unitholders fell 3.5% to S$89.66 million from S$92.87 million a year ago, with earnings per unit at 3.14 cents, down from 3.27 cents, mainly due to higher taxes. Income tax expenses surged to S$4.893 million from S$0.520 million.
Gross revenue decreased 8% to S$163.14 million, while net property income fell 7.8% to S$122.835 million.
