Wizz Air Holdings Plc (WIZZ.L) reported a narrower loss for the third quarter, mainly supported by revenue growth and lower foreign exchange losses.
Loss before income tax narrowed to 175.90 million euros from 277.60 million euros loss a year ago.
Operating loss, however, widened to 123.90 million euros from 75.90 million euros.
The airline posted a loss attributable to owners of the parent of 140.80 million euros, compared with 237.90 million euros loss a year earlier.
Total revenue rose 10% to 1.296 billion euros, driven by an 11% increase in passenger ticket revenue to 696.90 million euros and a 9% rise in ancillary revenue to 599.50 million euros.
Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer (RASK) slightly declined to 3.83 cents from 3.86 cents.
Load factor was 89.8%, 0.5 ppt down from 90.3%.
