ServiceNow, Inc. (NOW) shares fell 11.06 percent, or $14.33, to $115.29 on Thursday, in active trading.
The decline followed news from ecosystem partner Nicus Software, which announced the appointment of Eric Stoop as Chief Executive Officer. Stoop succeeds John Clark, who will remain in an advisory role, and is expected to guide Nicus' next phase of growth within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
The stock opened at $118.53 compared with a previous close of $129.62 and traded in a range of $114.01 to $118.96 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Trading volume climbed to about 17.4 million shares, exceeding the average daily volume. The 52-week range for ServiceNow is $114.01 to $211.48.
