Yum China Holdings, Inc. Q4 Profit Increases, Beats Estimates

Yum China Holdings, Inc. (YUMC) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that Increased from the same period last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's earnings totaled $140 million, or $0.40 per share. This compares with $115 million, or $0.30 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Yum China Holdings, Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $140 million or $0.40 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.37 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the period rose 8.8% to $2.823 billion from $2.595 billion last year.

The company has inked share repurchase deals in the U.S. and Hong Kong to repurchase around $460 million of shares in the first half of 2026. The share repurchase agreements include around $350 million in the U.S. and approximately HK$880 million for a similar program in Hong Kong.

For the fiscal 2026, Yum China expects capital expenditure of approximately $600 million to $700 million.

YUMC was up by 4.43% at $53 in the pre-market trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
