Shares of nLIGHT, Inc. (LASR) fell sharply on Wednesday after the company announced the pricing of a sizable public offering of common stock.
The stock is currently trading at $45.70, down $4.28 or 8.57%, on the Nasdaq. The stock opened at $48.73 after closing Tuesday at $49.98. The stock has traded between $6.20 and $50.78 in the past 52-week period.
The decline follows nLIGHT's announcement that it priced a public offering of 3.98 million shares at $44.00 per share, a discount to the prior closing price. The offering is expected to generate approximately $175 million in gross proceeds.
Proceeds will be used for working capital, capital expenditures, and general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close on February 5, 2026.
