SKC Q4 Loss Widens, Sales Edge Up; Stock Drops

SKC Co., Ltd. (011790.KS) reported Thursday wider loss in its fourth quarter, despite slightly higher sales.

In South Korea, the shares fell 5.7 percent on Thursday, to close regular trading at 111,500.00 won.

In the fourth quarter, net loss attributable to shareholders of parent company was 542.2 billion Korean won, compared to loss of 260.1 billion won a year ago.

Operating loss widened to 107.6 billion won from loss of 82.3 billion won last year.

Sales, however, edged up 0.8 percent to 428.3 billion won from last year's 424.8 billion won.

Sequentially, sales fell 15.4 percent from 506.0 billion won in the third quarter.
