Molina Healthcare Shares Plunge 28%

Molina Healthcare, Inc. (MOH) shares sank 27.94 percent, down $43.49, to $127.43 on Friday, after the company reported a fourth-quarter net loss and issued a softer outlook for full-year 2026.

The stock was trading at $133.35, compared with a previous close of $176.82. Shares opened at $176.63 and moved between an intraday low of $125.00 and a high of $136.26 on the New York Stock Exchange. Trading volume surged to about 4.41 million shares, well above the average daily volume of roughly 1.57 million shares.

Molina reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $160 million, or $3.15 per share, versus net income of $251 million, or $4.44 per share, a year earlier. Quarterly revenue increased to $11.375 billion from $10.499 billion last year.

The stock is trading near the lower end of its 52-week range of $125.00 to $359.97.
