Centrica Plc (CNA.L) Monday said that it has completed the disposal of several non-core energy solutions businesses. Its energy solutions operations in Italy and the Netherlands have been sold to Joulz, a portfolio company of 3i Infrastructure, while the Hungarian business has been divested through a management buyout, the company added.
Additionally, the integrated energy and services company said that it has finalized the sale of Panoramic Power and the total proceeds from these transactions is more than 80 million euros.
Commenting on the developments, Chris O'Shea, Group Chief Executive of Centrica, said, "These transactions reflect a strategic decision to focus our resources on Centrica Business's core growth and innovation priorities which will better position the business to pursue new opportunities and accelerate growth in key markets."
On the LSE, CNA.L is currently up 1.03 percent on Monday's trading at 193.57 pence.
