Orora H1 Results Improve

Orora Limited (OORD.F,ORA.AX), an Australian maker of glass bottles and aluminium cans, on Thursday reported an increase in earnings for the first half, helped by improved revenue, mainly driven by Cans Business performance.

For the six-month period, the company reported a statutory net profit after tax of A$58.9 million, higher than A$0.2 million in the same period last year. Net profit after tax stood at A$77.8 million as against the prior year's A$58.8 million.

Earnings per share were 6.2 cents, compared with 4.4 cents a year ago. EBIT was A$131.1 million, up from A$120.8 million in 2024. EBITDA was A$218.2 million, higher than A$190.6 million last year.

Revenue was A$1.127 billion, higher than A$1.028 billion a year ago. Revenue from the Cans business increased to A$442.1 million from A$372.8 million in the previous year.

The Board will pay an interim dividend of 5 cents per share on April 2 to shareholders of record as of March 2.
