Galderma Group AG (GALD.SW; GDERF) Monday announced the appointment of Luigi La Corte as Chief Financial Officer or CFO, effective May 1. He will join the company on April 1 to ensure a smooth and orderly transition with Thomas Dittrich, who has served as CFO since October 2019, the Swiss dermatology company said in an official statement.
As mentioned earlier, Dittrich will remain with Galderma through the second quarter to support a seamless handover of responsibilities before pursuing another senior executive opportunity outside the organization.
The company said that La Corte has more than 30 years of international financial leadership experience across healthcare and consumer businesses. Most recently, he served as CFO of Recordati S.p.A. from 2019 to 2025, where he oversaw Group Finance, Investor Relations, Sustainability, and Information Systems, Galderma Group added.
On the Swiss Exchange, GALD.SW ended Friday's trading at 152.20 Swiss francs, up 1.70 francs or 1.13 percent.
