Defense stocks are a bit weak amid hopes of a de-escalation in U.S.-Iran tensions ahead of nuclear talks in Geneva.
The benchmark CAC 40, moving between 8,302.80 and 8,337.70, was down 1.32 points at 8,315.18 a little while ago.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
