Knife River Q4 Profit Rises On Higher Revenue; Shares Up 4% In Pre-Market

Knife River Corporation (KNF), a provider of construction materials and contracting services, on Tuesday reported increased profit for the fourth quarter, reflecting higher revenue across its business segments. The company also issued a 2026 revenue outlook above 2025 revenue. Its shares were up more than 4% in pre-market trading.

Fourth-quarter net income was $32 million, or $0.56 per share, up from $23.3 million, or $0.41 per share a year earlier.

Operating income increased to $65.2 million from $44 million last year.

Total revenue rose to $755.1 million from $657.2 million in the prior-year quarter, driven by growth in construction materials to $407.9 million from $355.8 million and contracting services to $347.2 million from $301.4 million.

For the full year 2026, the company expects revenue in the range of $3.3 billion - $3.5 billion. This compares with 2025 revenue of $3.146 billion.

Knife River shares closed at $80.77 on Friday, down 0.86%.
