South Korea's Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Co. Ltd. (001450.KS) reported Monday wider loss in its fourth quarter with weak sales.
In the fourth quarter, the company recorded net loss of 73.04 billion Korean won, wider than prior year's loss of 15.74 billion won.
Operating loss widened to 147.39 billion won from loss of 6.79 billion won a year ago.
Sales dropped 12.2 percent to 4.21 trillion won from last year's 4.80 trillion won. Sequentially, sales fell 1.6 percent from 4.28 trillion won in the third quarter.
In South Korea, the shares closed Monday's regular trading at 37,900.00 won, down 2.32 percent.
