Flutter Entertainment Shares Fall 15% After Q4 Swings To Net Loss

Flutter Entertainment plc (FLUT) shares dropped 15.63 percent to $103.89 on Friday, down $19.24, after the company reported a fourth-quarter net loss compared with net income a year earlier.

The stock is currently trading at $104.71, compared with a previous close of $123.13. It opened at $110.04 and has traded between $102.00 and $111.10 during the session on the New York Stock Exchange. Trading volume stands at 4.68 million shares, compared with an average volume of 3.20 million shares.

For the fourth quarter, the company reported a net loss of $8 million, or $0.05 per share, compared with net income of $81 million, or $0.45 per share, last year. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.74, down from $2.94 a year ago. Revenue increased to $4.437 billion from $3.792 billion. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $102.00 to $313.68.
