Indian stock markets remain closed today on account of Holi. Trading in derivatives, securities lending and borrowing (SLBs), currency derivatives, and interest rate derivatives will also remain shut for the day on both the BSE and the NSE.
Benchmark indexes Sensex and Nifty tumbled by 1.3 percent and 1.2 percent, respectively on Monday as the possibility of prolonged turmoil in the Middle East and the ripple effects of higher oil prices spooked investors.
