Soft Start Anticipated For China Stock Market

The China stock market on Thursday snapped the two-day skid in which it dropped more than 100 points or 1.5 percent. The Shanghai Composite Index now sits just shy of the 4,110-point plateau, although it's likely to open to the downside again on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative on growing concerns over surging energy prices. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
